We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the CAMHS service, specializing in ADHD support. This is a new role that requires drive and enthusiasm to develop the position alongside the Occupational Therapy Team Lead and ADHD CAMHS team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and intervening with children and young people who may have ADHD. They will work closely with the Occupational Therapy Team Lead and the ADHD CAMHS team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
The post will be based at The Willows, a multi-disciplinary Children and Family's Centre, located in the beautiful Crichton grounds in Dumfries. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in health, education, and community services to provide therapy and support to children and families in community settings across Dumfries and Galloway.
We are committed to providing excellent support to our staff, encouraging personal and professional development. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, able to prioritize and manage their time effectively, and committed to service improvement.
The role requires a car driver, as extensive travel will be required due to the geography of the region. Dumfries and Galloway is a popular tourist area with scenic coastal and rustic landscapes, offering plenty of opportunities for outdoor and cultural activities.
