Compensation: £70 per hour
Role Overview:
As a key member of the Transport Team at Connect2Hampshire, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all decisions, as well as records related to children, operators, and Passenger Assistants, are accurately and promptly updated in designated systems. This includes utilizing platforms such as Capita One and the Passenger Assistant database, enabling team members to efficiently track progress and status.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the implementation and ongoing use of route planning software to enhance transport planning methodologies.
2. Address and resolve daily operational challenges that arise in the execution of School Transport Services.
3. Oversee transport commissioning for mainstream, Special Educational Needs (SEN), post-16, and social care children, adhering to relevant policies.
4. Under the guidance of the Operations Manager, manage the sourcing of transport arrangements, including single routes and emergency or temporary routes.
5. Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures as established by the School Transport management team.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in various software applications for data management and communication, particularly within the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in the school transport sector.
