About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Kirby Group Engineering. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support on all aspects of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain the Kirby management system for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate all EHS matters within project management teams, reporting constructively on EHS risks and trends.
  • Provide training and support to project managers, supervisors, and workers on EHS procedures and best practices.
  • Audit and inspect projects to identify areas for improvement, developing corrective and preventive action plans to enhance EHS performance.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on EHS performance, including KPIs and trends, to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in EHS management, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate incident investigations, utilizing root cause analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and CSA regulations, with experience working with sub-contractors.
  • Safe Pass, CSCS (UK), Train the Trainer, First Aid, and Training Instructor certifications.
