Peak Scientific Instruments Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our growing team. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in shaping and maintaining a culture of safety within our organization.

As the Health and Safety Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a secure and healthy work environment for all employees. You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and training programs to minimize workplace risks and promote a culture of safety.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for all operations and equipment, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate control measures.
  • Oversee regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HSE matters, fostering a proactive approach to safety.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote best practices in health and safety.
Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A recognized NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in leading HSE initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to safety.
