Job Introduction

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a skilled Programme Manager to join our team at Dechra, a global specialist in veterinary pharmaceuticals. As a key member of our Manufacturing & Supply (DMS) Transformation Programme, you will play a critical role in delivering our strategic goals and driving business transformation.

The Opportunity

The Programme Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects within the DMS Transformation Programme, ensuring timely delivery and effective project management. You will work closely with the Director of Strategy and Transformation Office, the DMS Head of PMO, and other stakeholders to achieve our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with business requirements and strategic goals.
  2. Lead the Transformation Project Management team, promoting best practices and ensuring effective project delivery.
  3. Collaborate with the PMO function to ensure timely collection of project information and informed decision-making.
  4. Work closely with the DMS leadership team to ensure seamless transition of projects and workstreams into the core business.
  5. Manage a significant programme delivery budget, including accurate financial forecasts and tracking of benefits.
  6. Establish and oversee the governance and delivery framework for all projects and workstreams.
  7. Coordinate Transformation KPIs across individual workstreams and ensure alignment and measurement.
  8. Ensure benefits tracking is in place and well-evidenced to optimize financial results.
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programme Manager who can drive business transformation and deliver strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience in delivering large-scale, multi-year business transformation programmes, ideally within a related industry.
  2. Strong working knowledge of up-to-date project delivery methodologies and ability to guide others into best practices.
  3. Benefit tracking and benefit delivery of financial, supply chain, and people benefits.
  4. Strategic thinking, linking project delivery to strategic goals and ensuring continuous alignment to these in a changing business environment.
  5. Excellent communication/influencing skills and advanced stakeholder management.
  6. Excellent organizational and technical skills.
  7. Tenacious and results-driven with sound business judgement.
