Job Title: Lead Practitioner - Therapy and Behaviour

Salary: £31,129 - £34,250 depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Practitioner to join our team at Kite Ridge School, a Specialist Secondary PRU for young people with Specific Learning Difficulties and behavioural challenges. The successful candidate will play a key role in the school's Senior Leadership Team, supporting the development of the sensory curriculum and behavioural therapy across the setting.

The Lead Practitioner will work closely with the Head Teacher and Deputy Head Teacher to ensure all students access a holistic curriculum, and will also take on the roles of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Advanced Team Teach Tutor following training.

About You

You will have experience of implementing Positive Behaviour Support and wider therapeutic disciplines for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or an autistic spectrum disorder. You will also have line management experience, delivering supervision, appraisal, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:
