Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled MET Technician to join our client's body shop team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the motor vehicle refinishing trade and be ATA qualified. They will be responsible for dismantling and reassembling damaged vehicles in accordance with the repair estimate, while following checking the methods and procedures as issued on every job. The MET Technician will ensure all Safety related items and materials are within the used by dates and are fit for purpose. Deviations to the estimate or methods issued should be reported to the estimator immediately.

The ideal candidate will have a smart appearance, competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT, and understanding of basic vehicle design, function, and location of parts. They will also have relevant product knowledge and be able to support others to continuously improve performance.
