NHS Highland is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Maternity Health Care Support Worker to join our team in the Inner Moray Firth area. As a key member of our midwifery team, you will provide administrative support to our midwives, ensuring the smooth delivery of care to our patients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to midwives, including telephone contacts with patients, arranging appointments, and updating databases.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and input data into our systems.
- Assist midwives at midwifery clinics, including phlebotomy and supporting the care of women and families in the community setting.
- Participate in parenting preparation and other community-based initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with other teams in the Inner Moray Firth area and attend training sessions as required.
**Requirements**
- Previous healthcare experience, preferably in a maternity setting.
- Excellent IT and time management skills.
- Motivation, flexibility, and a strong team player attitude.
- A full, current driving license and use of a personal vehicle.
