About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Mental Health Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to young people and their families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Provide Skilled Nursing Care: You will be responsible for coordinating and providing skilled nursing care to patients, in accordance with the NMC Code of Conduct.
  • Develop and Implement Nursing Care Plans: You will plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an allocated patient group, considering individual needs and using prioritization and delegation skills.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: You will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to facilitate seamless care delivery for all Trust patients.
  • Supervise and Develop Junior Nurses: You will participate in the continued development of nursing, including the supervision, teaching, and development of junior nurses and support staff.

Person Specification
  • Degree or Diploma Level Education as Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
  • Current Registration with NMC
  • Leadership and Management Training
  • Several Years Experience within Mental Health
  • Mentoring Experience with Nursing Students
  • Commitment to Professional Development
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £37,338 to £44,962 per annum pro rata for part-time, a permanent contract, and a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive work environment.
