Holden Jones Limited is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting and accounting operations, overseeing the submission of monthly management accounts for four business units, and managing balance sheet reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage financial reporting and accounting operations
- Oversee the submission of monthly management accounts for four business units
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce monthly analysis reports
- Oversee intercompany balance reconciliation and repayment
- Submit VAT returns and month end statutory accounts
- Manage half-year review and year-end statutory audits
- Prepare annual budgets with input from Business Unit Directors
- Supervise and mentor the finance team
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, overseeing finance functions on a day-to-day basis, and hold an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience with Sage, are also essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Financial Controller to join a dynamic technology business and take on a challenging role.
