Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Statutory Nuisance investigations, planning and licensing consultations, public health cases, and environmental permitting inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate Statutory Nuisance complaints using standard procedures and record forms.
  • Respond to Planning and Licensing consultations.
  • Carry out Environmental Permit inspections.
  • Enforce regulations by collecting evidence under PACE rules.
  • Liaise with colleagues in the Environmental Protection Team.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in Statutory Nuisance investigations, Planning and Licensing consultations, Environmental Permitting inspections, and great communication skills.

They will also be able to balance reactive and proactive work simultaneously.

What We Offer

Teqniq Ltd offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing the successful candidate to work from home or a Council Office.

The role requires field work and office-based work, with an average of 2 days per week in the office.

The North office is located in Bridgwater.

We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, with a potential to extend the contract.

The contract will be for 7 months, with a possibility of extension.
