Staff Liaison Consultant

This is a distinctive opportunity to serve as an independent liaison for staff, separate from our client. Ideal candidates come from diverse backgrounds such as education, human resources, business management, or law enforcement.
This role is unique as it operates independently alongside an NHS client, providing unbiased support to employees. You will be responsible for confidentially addressing staff concerns, facilitating resolutions through communication, and promoting a culture of openness and support.
Your daily responsibilities will include providing direct support to staff, escalating issues according to established protocols, organizing meetings, and delivering presentations on available services. You will also be tasked with maintaining accurate records and conducting quarterly meetings with senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to initial contacts via phone or email, employing an empathetic and non-judgmental approach.
- Schedule follow-up conversations with employees at mutually convenient times, utilizing various communication methods to ensure timely resolutions.
- Address patient safety and care concerns in accordance with the agreed timelines.
- Maintain contact with employees during the escalation process to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Facilitate meetings between employees and colleagues when necessary, with permission to escalate concerns.
- Regularly present the service to staff groups and maintain visibility with the NHS Trust.
- Accurately document records and contribute to service evaluations, ensuring timely reporting.
- Handle information and data responsibly, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Adhere to service policies and procedures.
- Engage in supervision, training, and team meetings; participate in all required organizational events.
- Stay informed on developments in employment law and NHS policies.
- Act as a subject matter expert in specific areas to add value to the service.
