Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Brand Marketing Specialist to support the Marketing Manager in executing strategic marketing initiatives aimed at elevating brand visibility and achieving essential business objectives. This role encompasses a variety of tasks, including brand stewardship, product innovation, media coordination, market analysis, financial management, and sustainability efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about marketing within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector to make a meaningful impact on our brand's trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Stewardship
- Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies to enhance consumer engagement and fulfill brand aspirations.
- Contribute to the development and presentation of annual brand strategies to key stakeholders.
- Lead the execution of marketing initiatives and projects, working closely with the sales department.
- Collaborate with the shopper marketing team to activate brand campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external partners, production facilities, and the central marketing division.
Product Innovation
- Collect consumer insights to pinpoint business opportunities and key drivers.
- Oversee the launch process of new products, from market research to retailer engagement and activation.
- Coordinate the development and approval of product designs, collaborating with creative agencies and quality assurance teams.
- Ensure timely and budget-friendly project execution through effective communication with the central marketing division.
Media Coordination
- Support the Marketing Manager in producing media materials.
- Assess the effectiveness of media campaigns using tools such as the Brand Health tracker and consumer satisfaction metrics.
Market Analysis
- Conduct monthly evaluations and reports on brand performance, including sales data and consumer insights, alongside competitor analysis.
- Identify market risks and opportunities to formulate growth strategies aligned with business goals and brand objectives.
Financial Management
- Oversee brand budget reconciliation and purchase order creation.
- Manage the brand's profit and loss statements in collaboration with the financial planning and analysis team.
Sustainability Efforts
- Lead sustainability initiatives across the brand portfolio, working with project managers and central packaging teams to improve packaging recyclability.
Qualifications:
- Experience in FMCG marketing (experience in the food sector is advantageous).
- Strong analytical capabilities and familiarity with analytical tools such as Nielsen, IRI, or Kantar.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of French is a plus but not mandatory).
