Senior Metrology Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Metrology Engineer to lead our team responsible for maintaining and optimizing inspection processes and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metrology and quality assurance, with experience in CMM programming and CAD software.
Key Responsibilities:- Optimize the use of inspection equipment for tasks at hand.
- Establish effective CMM programs aligned with customer or internal requirements.
- Support dimensional problem resolution in collaboration with quality, engineering, and production teams.
- Maintain and ensure serviceability of all inspection equipment and facilities.
- Ensure optimum use of resources and facilities to meet departmental workload.
- Respond quickly to quality concerns that could affect customer lines.
- Provide training and set standards for personnel regarding metrology requirements.
- Evaluate CAD models and drawings to support dimensional assessments.
- Completed a recognized apprenticeship in Engineering/Manufacturing, ideally with an ONC-level qualification.
- Proven metrology experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, particularly in quality functions.
- Hands-on experience with CMM programming using PC-Dmis, manual calibration equipment, and CAD software.
