As part of a period of sustained growth, the firm is looking for ambitious legal professionals, whether qualified solicitors or unqualified fee earners, to manage a diverse portfolio of high-value serious and catastrophic injury cases from inception to resolution. The role primarily involves litigated Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases that present complex technical challenges and significant financial implications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cases valued between £150,000 and £5 million, providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues within the Serious Injury team.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of experts, including medical professionals, case managers, care specialists, architects, forensic accountants, and legal counsel.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of evidence and legal issues related to liability, causation, and financial compensation.
  • Facilitate early interim payments and ensure appropriate rehabilitation for clients.
  • Lead and motivate your case team, ensuring adherence to clear objectives and performance indicators, while addressing any performance concerns with the Team Manager.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in managing serious injury claims as the lead fee earner, showcasing strong litigation skills and comprehensive knowledge of court procedures.
  • Enhance the firm’s profile within the personal injury sector through professional engagement and networking.
  • Maintain accountability for achieving targets in a dynamic environment while upholding high standards of work quality and client service.

Regular one-on-one meetings with your line manager will be conducted to assess your performance against set objectives and identify areas for professional development and support.
