Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate individual to serve as Team Rector for a vibrant benefice in the Cotswolds area. This role involves overseeing six churches with the support of a talented Ministry team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pastoral Leadership: Provide spiritual guidance and support to the congregation, demonstrating compassion and hospitality in all interactions.
  • Sacramental Life: Foster a strong commitment to sacramental life and the Eucharistic tradition, promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of these sacred practices.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to advance the vision and strategy of the benefice, working collaboratively with the Ministry team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Inclusivity and Diversity: Promote inclusivity and acceptance, creating a welcoming environment for all individuals, regardless of background or identity.
  • Ministry Development: Support the development of Ministry teams, providing guidance and resources to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in providing strategic leadership and pastoral care, with a strong track record of achieving results in a similar context.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Qualifications: Ordination in the Church of England, with a strong understanding of the Church's teachings and traditions.
