About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Mears, working in the Social Housing sector. As a key member of our local team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry services to our residents, ensuring their homes are safe and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake reactive repairs and planned maintenance work on residential properties, including window repairs, door replacements, and other carpentry tasks.
- Work collaboratively with our local teams to provide excellent customer service and ensure all safety, quality, and cost control standards are met.
- Support the delivery of our social value commitment by engaging with the local community and promoting our services.
Requirements
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Carpentry & Joinery.
- Proven experience in window repairs and carpentry work.
- Strong understanding of social housing sector and its challenges.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
