About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Safety Manager to join our Property and Compliance Works team at Hammersmith & Fulham Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the golden thread of information and external consultants to provide Building Safety expertise across our portfolio of 17,000 properties.

This is a challenging role that requires engagement with a range of key stakeholders, ensuring that the golden thread of information is maintained to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. You will need to demonstrate knowledge and experience of working in a similar post, ideally in housing/local authority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the golden thread of information and external consultants to provide Building Safety expertise
  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure the golden thread of information is maintained
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Building Safety across our portfolio of properties
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with Building Safety regulations
Requirements

We are looking for a confident build environment professional with a minimum of five years' experience in the required disciplines. You will need to hold a relevant technical professional qualification, such as full membership to the IFE/IFSM/CABE/RICS/CIOB, and a NEBOSH fire safety certificate FC1/FC2 or equivalent.
