As a proactive and hands-on Fleet Maintenance Team Leader at our state-of-the-art Fleet Service Center, you will assist the Service Manager in overseeing a team of up to eight technicians. The Fleet Maintenance Team Leader role
In addition to preparing new commercial vehicles for operational deployment, our service center manages all fleet-related issues, including addressing daily repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections. Collaborating closely with the Service Manager and stepping in during their absence, your responsibilities will encompass daily supervision, task allocation, vehicle service documentation, and scheduling routine maintenance for vehicles.
Your goal is to provide a reliable and professional service to both internal and external stakeholders, while exemplifying best practices in health & safety protocols.
Qualifications for our Fleet Maintenance Team Leader
- C&G HGV qualifications 1, 2, & 3 or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, with relevant vehicle expertise and experience
- Valid LGV Class 2 license and digital tachograph card, with familiarity with tachograph regulations.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with proficient hands-on skills in mechanical and technical maintenance.
- Proven understanding of current health & safety regulations.
Work Schedule: Average of 44.75 hours per week, typically from 7am to 4:30pm, plus alternate Saturday mornings from 6:30am to 11am
