Minimum starting salary is £28,412

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering lecturer to join our team at Wigan and Leigh College. As an Electrical Engineering lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering a range of Electrical/Electronic Engineering courses, specialising in Electrical Power from level 3 to L6 BEng(Hons) degree level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to students on Electrical/Electronic Engineering courses
  • Develop and maintain course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the Electrical Engineering department
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Postgraduate qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
