Medical Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Practitioner to join our team at E12 Medical Centre. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, acting as duty doctor, telephone consultations, and visiting patients at home.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
- Record clear, concise, computer-based consultation notes to agreed and acceptable standards.
- Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions.
- Prescribe in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines.
- Awareness of compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines.
- Contributing to evaluation/audit and clinical standard setting within the organisation.
- Attending training, practice meetings, and events organised by the Practice or other agencies where appropriate.
- Participate in an annual individual performance review, annual GP appraisal.
- Taking responsibility for own development, learning, and performance.
- Alert other team members to issues of Clinical Governance, quality, and risk.
- Assess own performance and take accountability for own actions.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities.
- Work effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients' needs.
- Effectively manage own time, workload, and resources.
- Apply practice policies, standards, and guidance.
- Discuss with other members of the team how the policies, standards, and guidelines will affect their own work.
- Participate in audit where appropriate.
- Work with Colleagues and Management Team to achieve standards of quality, performance standards, budgets, and targets.
- Contribute towards the development and implementation of new standards, policies, and procedures.
