Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Planner to join our Infrastructure Project Controls team based in Birmingham, focusing on projects in the rail, airports, highways, water, and utilities sectors. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of our Infrastructure division, working with a diverse range of clients and engaging in intriguing projects.

The Senior Planner will collaborate with our Project Controls team on prominent infrastructure initiatives, ensuring coordination across various project control functions, including Planning, Risk Management, Change Management, and Cost Management. This role may involve working within a large team or serving as the primary day-to-day liaison with clients. Candidates should possess prior experience in a project controls environment within the infrastructure sector (Rail, Airports, Highways, Water/Utilities) and have expertise in at least one of the following areas: Programme Controls Management, Earned Value Management (EVM), Change & Risk Management, Planning, Project Controls, or PMO.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a degree and relevant industry experience. Familiarity with tools such as Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Excel, or PRISM (Cost Management System) is also required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to adhering to documented processes and governance. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to innovate creatively to address the challenges of a dynamic project environment.
