London, Greater London, United Kingdom Ipsos Full time

Overview of the Role

The Lead Client Engagement Specialist (LCES) is tasked with the vital role of delivering the finest Ipsos experience to clients while embodying the 'Voice of the Client' within Ipsos teams. Facilitating client expansion is a crucial element of our strategic vision and is overseen by the Chief Client Officer alongside the Client Organisation team. The primary responsibility lies with the Client Engagement Specialists, who work directly with key clients and our Service Lines to ensure excellence in client relationships, driving growth and value creation within their designated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
The LCES oversees a portfolio of clients (3-5 clients based on their size and potential) and engages in the following activities for each client:

Client Strategy Development

Grasp the client's industry, context, and strategic growth challenges. Formulate a long-term vision for the client, identifying their growth agenda, priorities, power dynamics, competitive landscape, and the unique value proposition of Ipsos. Develop a strategic commercial action plan in collaboration with Service Lines and global account directors, leading the execution of that plan.

Business Growth Initiatives

Implement the commercial action plan to achieve revenue targets in alignment with Service Lines. Adopt a business development mindset with clients to identify opportunities, promote Ipsos services, and generate additional revenue streams. Lead proposals and presentations that involve cross-Service Line collaboration or are strategically significant. Provide guidance to Service Lines on pricing strategies to meet client expectations. Seek and cultivate opportunities to elevate Ipsos services through conferences, speaking engagements, and client events.

Client Relationship Management

Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations (C-Suite and their teams) to achieve trusted advisor status. Ensure that ongoing programs deliver recognizable value to clients. Leverage previous engagements to provide additional value and insights. Offer innovative ideas, thought leadership, and new methodologies in market research and growth strategies to enhance client value.

Performance Reporting

Manage the opportunity pipeline and communicate progress to the Chief Client Officer and global account directors. Report on key performance indicators to the board.

Ipsos UK promotes a hybrid working model, allowing for a combination of office and remote work.

Qualifications and Skills

A genuine passion for understanding client businesses and a desire to foster strong relationships that drive mutual growth. An eagerness to engage in a role that balances external and internal focus, requiring sound judgment. Experience in managing client relationships, ideally at the C-Suite level or equivalent. Proven ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders at both local and international levels. Demonstrated success in revenue generation and business development. Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of pricing strategies. Excellent storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in public speaking. Research experience with a comprehensive understanding of various Service Lines and project management from inception to delivery. Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building rapport and networks. Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead initiatives effectively. An entrepreneurial spirit that challenges the status quo constructively. Attention to detail and a keen analytical eye.

Benefits

Ipsos UK offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive rewards package, including 25 days of annual leave, a pension scheme, and a variety of flexible benefits tailored to individual needs. For positions at the Research Manager level and above, private healthcare is also provided.

Additionally, we provide an extensive Learning & Development program, delivered through a mix of in-person, online, and on-demand formats.

We recognize the importance of work-life balance and are open to flexible working arrangements, so please indicate your preferences in your application.

Ipsos is dedicated to fostering equality, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace, and ensuring diversity in our workforce, which is essential for our business success and enhances our ability to deliver exceptional research and insights to our clients.
