About the Role:
COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled New Product Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our food industry team, you will be responsible for driving innovation and growth through the development of new food products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive new product development strategy to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Work closely with our culinary team to generate creative ideas for new menu items that align with our brand ethos and customer expectations.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for new product development.
- Collaborate with chefs to develop and refine recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and profitability.
- Oversee the entire NPD process, including ideation, prototyping, testing, and launch, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Work with suppliers to source new ingredients and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform cost analysis and margin reviews to ensure the financial viability of new products.
- Ensure all new products comply with food safety regulations and company standards.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback on new products to make data-driven improvements.
Requirements:
- Proven NPD and Menu Development experience within a Restaurant, QSR or Foodservice environment.
- Ability to frequently travel to our office and sites across the UK.
- Degree educated in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and financial drivers in the food industry.
- Full UK driving licence.
