About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Colleague at Firswood Express, a Tesco store. As a Colleague, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers with a smile and serving them with pride
  • Build rapport with customers, ensuring they have a great shopping experience
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and improve store performance
  • Be knowledgeable about products and services, making recommendations to customers
  • Handle products with care, maintaining quality and ensuring they reach customers in the best condition
  • Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Be aware of store performance, understanding your role and contributing to driving sales and reducing waste

Requirements

  • A passion for delivering great service and building relationships with customers
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate openly with others
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
