Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver GIS figures and data sets for project needs from various internal and external sources.
- Evaluate data from multiple sources to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Champion GIS Solutions for the local office, focusing on data collection and delivery.
- Develop and maintain web-based applications and feature services on ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Set up Field Map and Survey123 applications for team member site visits.
- Provide technical support for spatial software solutions to internal and external clients.
- Update project managers/directors on task progress in line with program requirements.
- Manage the production of analysis and associated outputs, ensuring timely delivery and high standards.
- Provide direction and technical advice to junior team members, promoting their growth and development.
- Support project delivery and act as a subject area lead within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure technical content meets agreed standards, timescales, and budgets.
- Undertake project delivery tasks, including calculations, drawings, sketches, and reports.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to colleagues, and assist in mentoring and development.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Esri GIS desktop software ArcMap.
- Experience with ArcGIS Online and/or Portal environment.
- Experience in data conversion, database management, and GIS digitization and analysis.
- Experience in AutoCAD.
- Capability to produce high-quality cartographic products.
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional image projection to clients and colleagues.
- Proactive in identifying improvements and quality of workflows.
