Job Description

Role Overview

Bridge Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Security Manager to join the team of one of our clients, a leading provider of bespoke cleaning and security solutions for the office, retail, and commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Centre Management: As part of the centre management team, you will be required to work on a rota basis, ensuring the smooth operation of the centre.
  • Performance Management: You will be responsible for driving performance in terms of standards and behaviours across the team, ensuring customers receive the highest possible service standards.
  • Customer Service: You will operate as part of the team, providing customers with the required professional standards, maintaining excellent communication at all times.
  • Health and Safety: You will provide a safe environment for the general public and staff, reporting any Health and Safety hazards and being aware of risk and compliance during day-to-day operations.
  • Team Management: You will be aware of the team's role in the management of events and activities, understand team requirements, and assist as appropriate.
  • Relationship Management: You will maintain positive relations with retailers and assist where appropriate, working with other teams for the benefit of the site, developing new skills where necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: You will book on/off duty using an electronic payroll system, maintain records in line with your duty, including utilising the electronic patrol system, all check sheets, incident reports, and accident reports.
  • Training and Development: You will ensure all employee training is recorded and up to date, lead colleague inductions covering all health and safety training and role expectations.
  • Standards and Expectations: You will deliver on standards and expectations, participating in site emergency procedures.

Requirements

  • Candidate Profile: You will demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, maintain communication at all times with your colleagues using site-specific communication methods.
  • Working Relationships: You will maintain and develop working relationships with partners, managers, colleagues, business managers, and head office support.
  • Health and Safety: You will be responsible for H&S within your area of activity, embedding a risk-aware culture at site level.
  • Certifications: You will have a valid Security licence and First aid certificate.
