Product Support Specialist

About the Role

As a Product Support Technician at Medstrom, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
  • Build positive relationships with valued customers
  • Complete product demonstrations and basic training to hospital staff
  • Deliver and collect medical equipment, prioritizing according to agreed timescales
  • Perform pre-installation maintenance on medical equipment
  • Complete records of testing, delivery, and collection
  • Identify potential opportunities and communicate them accordingly
  • Maintain available product stock and spare parts inventory

Requirements

  • Full, valid UK driving licence required (training and support will be provided)
  • Experience in a customer service and/or customer-facing environment
  • Knowledge of Medstrom and/or other medical device manufacturers' products is an advantage
  • Mechanical and/or electrical experience
  • Experience working within a healthcare setting is desirable

  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work using your initiative and follow procedures
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety rules
  • Basic PC skills, including email and MS Office

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, 1.30pm - 10pm

Overtime and On-Call Rota

Opportunity for overtime and an on-call rota with a shift allowance and additional payment for hours worked, once fully trained.
