Ecological Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Ecologist to join our client, a leading ecology consultancy, providing specialist ecology services to a range of organisations throughout the UK.
The successful candidate will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking, and will be based in either our Worcestershire or Hertfordshire offices.
This is a hybrid remote role, requiring occasional visits to client sites, and therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Lead protected species surveys, utilising expertise in botanical surveys and UKHab and NVC survey methodologies
- Undertake analysis using DEFRA Metrics to produce Ecological Assessments, EIA and sHRA reports
- Manage a range of ecology projects and schemes, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex ecological challenges
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction
