The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our client, a leading ecology consultancy. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading protected species surveys, botanical surveys, and UKHab and NVC survey methodologies. They will also possess the ability to undertake analysis using DEFRA Metrics and produce high-quality Ecological Assessments, EIA and sHRA reports.

About the Company

Our client is a renowned ecology consultancy, providing specialist ecology services to a range of organisations throughout the UK. The Ecologist will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct botanical surveys using UKHab and NVC survey methodologies
  2. Lead protected species surveys, with EPS licences being a plus
  3. Undertake analysis using DEFRA Metrics
  4. Produce Ecological Assessments, EIA and sHRA reports
  5. Manage a range of ecology projects and schemes
  6. Hold a full UK driving licence

What We Offer

Our client offers a hybrid remote working arrangement, with the option to work from either their Worcestershire or Hertfordshire offices. This role requires regular visits to client sites, making a driving licence essential.
