Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a local SEND Provision in Spalding. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and mobility.
  • Support students with communication and social skills development.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practices in Special Educational Needs support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
