About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Medical Support Specialist for a refinery shutdown in September. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing medical support to workers on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical support to workers on site
  • Work in collaboration with the refinery's medical team to ensure the health and safety of workers
  • Conduct medical assessments and provide treatment as necessary
  • Develop and implement medical protocols and procedures to ensure the health and safety of workers
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a PIN number showing current registration with the UKCC
  • Accident and Emergency experience or be a qualified Paramedic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
