As a Strategic Business Leader at Irwin Mitchell, you will play a pivotal role in the firm's business unit leadership team. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing business strategies aligned with the firm's goals, ensuring client satisfaction and financial success.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the business unit, driving growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan resource allocation and budgeting, ensuring effective use of firm resources
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to adapt to market changes and trends
  • Monitor performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives to enhance business outcomes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, Business Development, and Marketing, to deliver business objectives
  • Influence strategic decision-making and drive commercial awareness across the organization
  • Champion a culture of commercial acumen and profit-focused leadership

Your Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in commercial management in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Passion for continuous improvement and strong financial acumen
  • Effective people management and coaching skills, with a focus on developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
