About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmology Consultant to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the provision of General Ophthalmology with a subspecialty interest in Glaucoma
- Delivery of outpatient clinics and day case surgery
- Urgent and Emergency Care duties, including out-of-hours on-call
- On-call duties shared with 8 other colleagues on a rota

Person Specification
- Wide experience in managing Glaucoma patients in outpatients, lasers, and theatre
- Ophthalmology fellowship or equivalent experience in Glaucoma
- Good time management and computer literacy
- Ability to contribute to the development of the Trust and its services
