About the Role

Mood Media is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Accounting and Finance function, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for our ERP and other systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Support and Maintenance
    • Provide day-to-day support for Oracle and other related applications
    • Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance current modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, eBusiness Tax, Intercompany Setups, and VAT Tax
  • Customization and Development
    • Develop new and modify existing customizations, conversions, and interfaces as required by the Finance department
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
    • Troubleshoot system and process issues as reported by the Finance team
  • System Development and Implementation
    • Lead in the development and implementation of new systems or enhance existing systems to resolve issues
  • Process Improvement
    • Improve accounting/financial processes and internal controls for IT-related items
  • Test Environment Management
    • Manage and maintain finance modules in the E-Business Suite test environments
  • Business Partnerships
    • Establish and maintain strong and consistent business partnerships across multiple business lines
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in accounting, finance, and IT. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL
  • Accounting/Finance experience
  • Cost Accounting experience
  • VAT Tax experience
  • Intercompany process experience
  • Architectural knowledge and ability to liaise efficiently with solution designers and application architecture
  • ERP implementation/optimization experience
  • Ability to solve problems in a timely, structured manner with strong analytical approach
  • Strong ability/confidence to determine and lead strategic change
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure
