Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who require additional support due to their special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to SEN children in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers in developing and implementing individualized education plans
  • Support children with Autism, Global Delay, and Speech & Language difficulties
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting vulnerable children
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment

Requirements:

  • 1st Class Degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Experience in supporting children with special educational needs
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities offered by the school
