**Job Summary**

As a Test Technician at Advanced Energy, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to test and troubleshoot electronic components and sub-assemblies, using a variety of test procedures, drawings, and verbal/written instructions.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform various production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Utilize test procedures, drawings, and schematics to identify and troubleshoot issues with electronic equipment.
  • Work on assignments that require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to recognize nonconformities.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless workflow and quality control.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work under limited supervision, taking initiative to train other employees in established processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to corrective actions and process improvements, ensuring all tasks are performed accurately and completely.
  • Develop and implement new test fixturing and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge, including proficiency in SAP applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in electronic testing and troubleshooting, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices and safety protocols.
  • HNC or Electrical Electronics Degree, or equivalent.

**Working Conditions**

  • Location: Manufacturing facility.
  • Environment: Fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Physical Requirements: Carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, and occasional lifting.
