Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage in field sales activities, advocating a diverse portfolio of architectural lighting products.
  • Focus on specification sales, securing projects and establishing influence among electrical engineers, architects, consulting engineers, lighting designers, and M&E consultants.
  • Collaborate within a London-based team of seven sales professionals.
  • Follow up on leads and manage projects effectively.
  • Inherit a client base of approximately 600, concentrating efforts on the top 50 clients.
  • Handle project sizes reaching up to £1 million.
  • Achieve a nominal target of £500,000 in invoiced sales during the first year while developing a robust sales pipeline.
  • Primarily engage in specification sales targeting architects, consultants, and lighting design professionals.
  • Maintain a CRM database of contacts, with a focus on generating new business opportunities.
  • Target prestigious commercial projects and high street retail opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in architectural lighting sales or related fields is preferred.
  • Open to candidates with any electrical specification sales background; product training will be provided.
  • Possess a technical mindset.
  • Connections with interior designers, electrical engineers, and M&E consultants may be beneficial.
  • Must have daily access to London.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to sales.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, tenacity, and sound business acumen.
