Site-Based Versatile Maintenance Technician (Electrical Focus)

Core Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Role Overview:

Execute scheduled and on-demand maintenance tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance in line with the organization's planned maintenance and task frameworks. Conduct planned maintenance activities with a high level of professionalism and quality. Generate technical and situational reports as necessary. Utilize provided technology systems to ensure compliance with contractual obligations consistently. Execute assigned tasks in a proactive and professional manner at all times. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and clients consistently. Prepare activity reports in accordance with company protocols accurately and punctually. Support management in generating quotations by providing precise and high-quality information for identified additional works. Attend team meetings and briefings as required. Submit accurate weekly timesheet information promptly. Ensure the company is represented positively at all times. Carry out reactive maintenance tasks as directed by the Help Desk or management team. Report any significant site issues or incidents to your line manager as soon as they are identified. Oversee Integral subcontractors while on-site. Understand and adhere to all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality regulations, recognizing your responsibilities within the organization. Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of materials and equipment in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations. Actively engage in health and safety processes as required by company policies, including accident investigations, reporting, risk assessments, and audits. Follow any other reasonable instructions from the Contract Manager or their line managers. Collaborate with the company to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant experience in high-profile commercial properties. LV Authorised Person (Preferred). Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent. C&G Parts 1 & 2, or equivalent qualifications. 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to achieve 18th Edition through additional training if currently holding 17th Edition). C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing, and certification. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff. Proactive approach to achieving the highest operational standards. Competent IT and report writing skills. Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure, clarity, and the ability to deliver required services within specified timeframes.
