Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work as part of a team to contribute to the delivery of hydro-mechanical assemblies and components on time to a high specification. This role reports directly to Production Leaders and requires the ability to operate hand tools, perform quality checks, and maintain operational control processes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate hand tools, including torque wrenches, to assemble and fit components.
- Perform quality checks on own work to ensure it meets the required standards and complete relevant documentation.
- Raise Non-Conformance documentation and assist the team and management in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Maintain visual management boards and planning schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
- Utilize manual dexterity skills to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Work to technical instructions and adhere to fixed processes and quality standards.
- Apply knowledge and experience of a wide range of inspection techniques.
- Utilize IT skills, including MES and Microsoft applications.
Please note that due to recent changes in Off Payroll (IR35) legislation, our client only operates with contractors that operate via a PAYE or Umbrella model.
