About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead our new contracts from order placement to full production, ensuring timely delivery to our valued customers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in project success, meeting deadlines, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from order to full production
  • Provide technically sound engineering solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Achieve effective results and resolve potential problems or issues
  • Manage customer expectations and requirements, including variations from original orders
  • Prepare accurate timelines and progress reports for all aspects of each project
  • Document preparation, including production schedules and project progress
  • Develop a commercial awareness of contracts handled
  • Progress the manufacture of all parts required to schedule
  • Involvement in design and quotation processes

About You

  • Apprentice-trained in Welding, Fabrication, or Mechanical Engineering
  • A flexible approach to adapt to changing and challenging requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to remain focused on Quality and consistently reiterate its importance to others
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative concepts and ideas
