Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team at Pratap Partnership. As a key member of our digital transformation project, you will be responsible for supporting users across the business in their day-to-day business application use and bringing more advanced technology and automation into the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support users across the business in key applications, identifying opportunities for further training and development.
  • Monitor application usage and SLAs with third-party providers to review suitability and performance.
  • Lead and manage upgrades and new technology implementations, focusing on speed, automation, and efficiency.
  • Develop workflow plans and technical specification road-maps to support implementations.
  • Provide project management support across various organisational projects, influencing, coaching, and mentoring teams to support successful delivery and implementation.
  • Ensure the business is ready for any new system and that the implementation runs smoothly.
  • Provide oversight and management of IT hardware and software, liaising closely with external providers.

Requirements

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Experience delivering projects or working in a project management environment, delivering complex cross-organisational projects.
  • Experience using and implementing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of organisational data and IT security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding of approaches to combining data from different sources, and the use of data tools/methods of analysis.
  • Principles of testing methodologies to ensure successful implementation – manual and automated.
  • Experience identifying and adding value, eliminating waste and improving processes.
  • Strong relationship-building skills in managing external provider contracts.
  • Effective planning skills to ensure smooth delivery of new implementations and upgrades with minimal disruption to business as usual.
  • Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and approaches to security testing in systems.
  • Ability to evaluate, appraise, cost, and consider business risks.
  • Experience in training and developing staff.
  • Demonstrably strong change management and influencing skills, being a role model for agile behaviours – growth, trust, collaboration, and reflection.
  • Good understanding of how digital tools can be used to improve efficiency across organisations.
  • Experience of working within and managing a defects management process.
