As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the individuals we support. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Female residential service in Witham. This service is characterized by a warm and friendly atmosphere, supported by a dynamic team dedicated to empowering a wonderful group of females.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of staff to assist individuals in achieving greater independence in their daily lives. This may involve:
- Developing and implementing personalized support plans
- Conducting assessments of care needs
- Recruiting and training new staff members
- Completing supervisions and appraisals
- Ensuring medication competencies and conducting medication audits
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings
- Preparing reports and supporting the Registered Manager in daily operations
As an Assistant Service Manager, you will also participate in the on-call rota and administrative duties.
This position is ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of others, whether by helping colleagues build confidence or supporting individuals in achieving their personal goals.
We seek candidates who possess both the necessary experience and the right values. Therefore, our ideal Assistant Service Manager should have prior experience in a care management role and hold a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or be willing to obtain it, along with experience working with individuals with autism, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.
