Assistant Service Manager

At Mencap, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Temporary Assistant Service Manager. This position offers a unique opportunity to support the Service Manager in leading and motivating a team of support workers, ensuring compliance and best practice standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate the team of support workers
Ensure compliance and best practice standards are met
Support the Service Manager in delegated management tasks
Guarantee the quality of our service delivery and ensure continuous improvement
Demonstrate professionalism, ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, and follow Mencap policies and procedures
Requirements:
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload
Strong understanding of Mencap policies and procedures
Ambition to succeed and contribute to the work Mencap does to support people with a learning disability
