Jobstore UK is seeking a skilled 3.5t Delivery Driver to join our team in a busy Furniture company in the North West region.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and timely manner, utilizing their expertise in Furniture Assembly and Logistics Management. They will be working various shifts, Monday to Friday, delivering goods across the UK, from Scotland to Plymouth.

The role will involve:

Transportation and Delivery

  • Safely drive a commercial van to transport goods to various locations
  • Load and unload items from the van

Furniture Assembly and Handling

  • Assemble and install furniture in customers' homes and businesses
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks as required

Customer Service and Communication

  • Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and to the customer's satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
  • Capable of driving and manoeuvring a van safely
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting tasks as this is a physically demanding job
  • Valid clean driver's licence held for 2 years
