Electronics Quality Assurance Specialist

ZipRecruiter is seeking a highly skilled Quality and Compliance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our quality assurance systems, ensuring that our products and services meet customer requirements and established standards.
In this role, you will work closely with our external consultant to develop and maintain our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards. You will also be responsible for leading and maintaining our quality certifications, ensuring that audits, non-conformances, and equipment calibrations are up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards.
- Lead and maintain quality certifications, ensuring that audits, non-conformances, and equipment calibrations are up to date.
- Oversee the development, modification, application, and maintenance of standards for quality operating methods, processes, systems, and procedures.
- Determine present standards and establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
Requirements:
- HNC or higher in engineering or related field.
- Auditor trained CQI-IRCA ISO 9001:2015 or similar.
- Level 5 qualification or above in Quality Assurance.
- Minimum of 5 years progressive quality experience.
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing quality processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).
- Knowledge of quality management and improvement practices and programs such as Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, TQM, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO, etc.
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP is desired.
