Job Summary:
Artis Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our clients' digital assets from cyber threats.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Cybersecurity Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity roadmap that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Implement and Manage Security Applications: Oversee the implementation, management, and tuning of security applications and tools to ensure effective integration with IT infrastructure.
- Provide Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and support for security application usage, ensuring that employees have the necessary knowledge to use security tools effectively.
- Conduct Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify security gaps and propose mitigation strategies to ensure the integration of security controls into system and application designs.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks, ensuring that security objectives and requirements are aligned with project scope, budget, and timeline.
- Communicate Security Concepts: Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone understands the importance of cybersecurity.
- Support Security Awareness Training: Support the development of security awareness training and guidance to employees, ensuring that they have the necessary knowledge to protect themselves and the organization from cyber threats.
- Apply Project Management Principles: Apply project management principles and best practices to plan, execute, and monitor security projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Required Background:
- Advanced Understanding of Encryption Algorithms: Advanced understanding of encryption algorithms, key management, and PKI.
- Expert Knowledge of Network Protocols: Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and network segmentation.
- In-Depth Understanding of Operating Systems: In-depth understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux), system hardening, vulnerability assessment, and secure coding practices.
- Expertise in Application Security: Expertise in application security principles, threat modelling, secure coding, and web application firewalls (WAFs).
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Authentication: Comprehensive knowledge of authentication, authorization, single sign-on (SSO), and identity federation.
- Ability to Design Secure Architectures: Ability to design and implement secure architectures for various systems and applications.
- Knowledge of Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming and scripting languages.
Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Relevant Industry Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, TOGAF, CCSP).
- Experience in Cloud Security: Experience in cloud security and security automation.
