About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our team as a Counsellor on Placement. As a Counsellor on Placement, you will provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people aged 4-18 in our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one counselling to up to 3 children per day, for a minimum of one day per week.
  • Work in a therapeutic capacity with children, using evidence-based approaches to support their mental health and well-being.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, through collaboration with our team and partner schools.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a fully qualified Counsellor, Therapist, or Clinical Psychologist, or studying towards one of these professions. You will have a strong understanding of child development, mental health, and therapeutic approaches.
