About the Role

A leading construction consultancy firm, Aldwych Consulting Ltd, is seeking an ambitious MEP Cost Manager to join their Real Estate team in London. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their expertise and make their mark in an established company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the implementation process of a revised reporting structure across all MEP Design & Construction and retail projects.
  • Manage aspects of MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy, including pre and post-contract duties.
  • Assist in producing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
  • Input to the tender process, review and analyze MEP tender returns, and support recommendations to the client, as well as advice on MEP package procurement routes.
  • Produce guidance notes on the reporting structure to ensure clients and vendors are adequately trained in the reporting process.
  • Manage stakeholders through chairing of client meetings, presenting findings from the data reported on by vendors within the region.
  • Publish and present monthly reports, monthly programme dashboards, and bi-weekly status reports.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full MEP project life cycle.
  • Professionally qualified (RICS, CIBSE, or similar).
  • Degree or HNC level qualification.
  • Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients.
  • Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize more than one project at a time.
  • Utilize digital software for delivery of cost management services.
