A leading construction consultancy firm, Aldwych Consulting Ltd, is seeking an ambitious MEP Cost Manager to join their Real Estate team in London. The successful candidate will work on a range of high-profile fit-out and refurbishment projects focusing on MEP, with opportunities to expand their expertise and make a significant impact in an established company.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the implementation process of a revised reporting structure across all MEP Design & Construction and retail projects.
- Manage aspects of MEP quantity surveying and cost consultancy, including pre- and post-contract duties.
- Assist in producing MEP cost estimates and cost plans.
- Input to the tender process, review and analyze MEP tender returns, and support recommendations to the client, as well as advice on MEP package procurement routes.
- Produce guidance notes on the reporting structure to ensure clients and vendors are adequately trained in the reporting process.
- Manage stakeholders through chairing of client meetings, presenting findings from the data reported on by vendors within the region.
- Publish and present monthly reports, monthly programme dashboards, and bi-weekly status reports.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full MEP project life cycle.
- Professionally qualified (RICS, CIBSE, or similar).
- Degree or HNC level qualification.
- Experience in delivering MEP elements of work for clients.
- Knowledge and contacts within the MEP supply chain (tier 1 and below).
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritize more than one project at a time.
- Utilize digital software for delivery of cost management services.
